About Me
I’ve been in publishing in one form or another since college, where I was a writer for University News Services before becoming the editor for The Observer, a university newsletter published about campus life at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. After grad school at SIUE, I joined the CV Mosby Company in St. Louis, MO, as a newbie production editor, copyediting and proofreading health science textbooks and reference texts. The company was ultimately bought by Elsevier, where I worked my way up the ladder to be a manager of a team of editors. Now, I edit for UWorld, a test-prep company, specializing in medicine, nursing, SAT/ACT, AP, pharmacology, and MCAT. I have loved getting back to my editing roots. Playing with words is my greatest passion.

I have two cats, Mona and da Vinci, who like to lounge nearby while I toil to give them a soft place to sleep and yummy food to eat. And, of course, a pet or two between paragraphs
